Another update

So we had a little scare on Tuesday. We were told that the baby was at an elevated risk for neural tube defects so we went in today to find out if that was the case. Basically it is an opening in the spine, brain, or abdomen which can lead to spina bifida, brain damage, or things not being where they should. So, we went in and talked to a genetics counselor for a half an hour for her to tell us about it all and what we would do if it were to come out that the baby did have any of those things then we went in and did the ultrasound for 30 minutes. Well, turns out the baby is fine and the test was just wrong so were happy. Also some good news is, we found out sooner than we were supposed to that we are having a little girl. Yay, its exactly what we were hoping for and we couldn't be happier. We have a first name picked out already; Hayley (adam spells it Hailey) we haven't decided how to spell it yet. We are still working on a middle name, but so far we have Kay, Lynn, or Jean. Just thought you would all like to know. Pictures will be here soon.

Congrats on a baby girl! I love the name Hayley/Hailey or however you're going to spell it.
I'm so glad the neural tube scare was just that and nothing more. Phew! How scary. See you Sunday!
